RESEARCH WORK

INTELLIGENT ALGORITHMS

The explosion of IT technology development imposes innovative approaches in creating and evaluating new solutions in Operations Management and Business Intelligence. The main goal of Quadro Consulting research work is to create and test intelligent algorithms and their direct implementation in all areas of business intelligence in a Relational and Big Data environment. A team of researchers, composed of top experts, has published papers from related fields in the world’s most renowned journals. Currently, the most efficient algorithms for the Clustering Problem (Cell Formation Problem) and the routing problem (Single Source Shortest Path Problem) are the algorithms published by our collaborators.

Algorithms use applied mathematics tools to measure things, optimize object values, detect trends, etc. for all fields of Business Intelligence. Machine learning is implemented through mathematical analysis, optimization, induction, clustering, and classification to reveal relationships and dependencies, or to perform predictions of outcomes and behaviors.

Our optimization algorithms solve the most complex NP-hard problems with an efficiency that has proven to be the highest in relation to world-renowned works. All areas of operational management have been covered:

Scheduling, Partitioning, Routing, Assignment, and 3D Packaging.

OPR-MAN PLATFORM

Rather than using PPT slides or Video presentations, we are in the process of developing a Web app (https://opr-man.net/ Chrome browser is required) where a registered user can directly use and test our algorithms. At the moment, the following modules are completed: Permutation Flowshop Problem, Cell Formation Problem, Single Source Shortest Path Problem, Traveling Salesmen Problem, Point-to-point Routing Problem, Quadratic Assignment Problem, and 3D Packaging Problem.

The opr-man facilities are:

  • Free access to everyone
  • User data protection and confidentiality
  • Free insertion of procedures written in any programming language
  • Unbiased testing environment
  • Availability of the well-known test instances
  • Free creation or import of new instances
  • Visualization of algorithm steps
  • Reporting
